Individually produced by a local artisan leather craftsman in New Zealand it is created from substantial 2mm vegetable tanned leather - vegetable tanned leather is a slow two month tanning process, using tannic acid naturally found in some flora and fauna. Stitched, oiled and finally buffed by hand, each one carries its own individual characteristics and is made with oodles of love and care.

I use my Nettie Tote on an everyday basis as it’s robust enough that it can be used for everything from small shopping trips, holding heavy samples, folders or phone, sunglasses and wallet with ample room for my Maggie Scarf.
